GREAT LATIN CUISINE

Executive Chef Jose Ibarra discovered his passion for cooking at the age of 7 when his uncles visited him from the US in Guadalajara Mexico. Since then, he has decided to continue and fight for that passion which lead him to the US in 1980. At the age of 15, he started working in fine dining Italian restaurants as a dishwasher, prep and then sous chef. From there, he took a turn and fell in love with the Caribena food, now working for several Cuban restaurants. Now at Fuego, he had taken his previous experiences and created a Cuban/Mexican fusion taste. “There is no better satisfaction than seeing happy customers with empty plates.” – Chef Jose Ibarra
